Our platform includes pre-configured validation rules for OTA e-invoicing compliance, ensuring every invoice meets Fawtara requirements before transmission.
SMARTeIS offers seamless native integration with SAP, Oracle ERP, Microsoft Dynamics, and local Oman accounting systems through APIs and standard connectors. Our platform connects your ERP once, automatically handling all OTA Fawtara compliance, XML/PDF-A3 formatting, digital signatures, and QR code generation.
SMARTeIS supports all OTA-mandated formats: XML (UBL 2.1 with Oman-specific business terms) and PDF/A-3 (XML embedded in human-readable PDF). Yes. SMARTeIS supports all OTA Fawtara invoice types: B2B e-invoices, B2G invoices (Phase 4, Feb 2028), tax invoices, simplified invoices, prepayment invoices, debit notes, and credit notes. For B2C, SMARTeIS supports the e-reporting model geared toward consumer transaction data reporting to the OTA.
Under the amended VAT Executive Regulations (Ministerial Decision 456/2022), non-compliance with Oman’s e-invoicing mandate carries administrative penalties ranging from OMR 500 to OMR 5,000. Failure to issue a required e-invoice is treated as seriously as failing to issue any valid tax invoice.
